Danny and Abby were so fun to be around and so wonderful being willing to stay outside in the cold with me! I felt so honored to be their photographer for their engagement photos in Detroit and soon, their gorgeous wedding this spring. We visited several locations in Detroit including the Detroit Institute of the Arts, the Detroit Athletic Club, Woodward Avenue and a couple of other fun places all covered in snow.
Here are a few of my favorite images!
One of my concerns shooting their session was Abby’s hair and that it would loose it’s shape and style throughout our time together because of the snow. Let me tell you, I think Abby has some hair secret she needs to sell. Her hair stayed gorgeous the entire session! (I should have taken a selfie for you to see mine hahaha!)
We took a few photos indoors in between locations to warm up and I think that saved us. It was so cold!
These two are so incredibly gorgeous and photogenic. I can’t wait for the warmer wedding day!

We were so blessed to have beautiful snow cover and snow falling for their session. It was surreal.
