This studio family session in Grand Rapids is of one of my favorite families. I photographed Ted and Staci’s wedding years ago and have been so blessed to be there to photograph each sweet boy’s newborn session and now family sessions yearly. This is the favorite part about my job. Watching these families grow and being behind the scenes is so, so special. It doesn’t seem like a huge importance, but really….it most certainly is!
I simply adore this image of Staci and sweet Gabe. Staci looks gorgeous (as always) and Gabe looks perfectly content just hanging out in mom’s arms.
These boys – trying to get a nice photo of the three of them was like photographing an episode of WWE. It wasn’t easy 😉
Oh these two….!
I always start with the full family photos first. That is the most difficult photo to get…. The chances of everyone looking at me and at least semi-smiling is rather slim later on in the session but then chances of me getting great shots while chasing the little ones is pretty great 🙂 This photo was the very first shot I took of the session. Aren’t they gorgeous?!
