Brennan & Kelly’s wedding day was beyond special for SO many reasons.  This sweet couple have quickly become friends of mine over the past several months of their engagement.  Kelly and I have spent endless time texting back and forth with ideas, excitement and just plain not being able to wait to celebrate this awesome day!  Their family and friends were pretty amazing too.  They made us feel SO welcome and were unbelievably kind.  People like this make me want to secretly join their family….sneak in on family Christmas with a dish to pass….like “Hey!  I’m here!  Let’s hang out!”  Would that be weird…?!

Their wedding day started at CityFlats Hotel in downtown Grand Rapids and ended in the same beautiful space.  The ballroom in this hotel is stunning with so many greats places for photos…..definitely a dream!!

Kelly wanted a dress that made her feel like a princess….and I think this Hayley Paige gown did just that!

Kelly loved her shoes so I made sure to spend a little extra time on them….but they are gorgeous so it made sense!

These bridesmaids sure knew how to have fun 🙂

These socks!  They were Kelly’s favorite detail of the wedding day and are SO funny!  They have her face on them!  This is why her and I got along so well!

CityFlats has such a stunning space!  The curves in the architecture and that gorgeous ceiling…..

We also got to work with one of our favorite teams….from All Buttoned Up Events.  They always make sure things are running smoothly!

Oh my.  Macarons are THE best!  They are super trendy right now but it’s because they taste soooo good!

Their guests had so much fun (and so did we!).
