Grand Rapids Family Photographer // Katrina and her Lucky Fin!
Katrina is a little spitfire. She makes me smile each time I see her and is crazy cute! Katrina is part of our Lucky Fin family so last weekend I was able to photograph her and her momma during our free mini sessions for limb difference families. I do these sessions each year and it is seriously the highlight of my year. Katrina has grown so much since last year, but this year, she really has came into her own….so fun, smiley and the sweetest thing around!
Our family knew Katrina’s mom before she was born, so finding out that she would have a lucky fin kiddo too was a surprise! Katrina’s momma, Katy, and I even were able to sit in the waiting room of DeVos Children’s Hospital during our girl’s surgeries one day. Gabby was having a small hand surgery and Katrina was having her sweet little arm amputated due to a rare blood clot that she had at birth. I am SO thankful for wonderful mommas that I get to share this life with!
