How do you like being married?  Does it feel any different than before?

We love it because we’re no longer in planning / spending $$ mode. Not much has actually changed, but we do feel super legit (and can’t wait to file joint taxes, wahoo).

Was there anything that you would have done differently on your wedding day or did it go exactly as planned?

We wish we had taken more time to enjoy our food and dine with everyone. We ran off to snap sunset pics, but came back feeling rushed… like we had to keep the party moving for our guests.

Did anything crazy or funny happen that we may not know about?

The wedding cake was dropped on or before delivery. The bakery wouldn’t bring a replacement or even white icing to the venue, so our caterer ran across town and we covered the major dents with flowers. Those jerks.

Did you have a favorite vendor and/or favorite detail from the day?

Our DJ killed it. Friends, family, and +1s were on the dance floor until midnight.  (I’d have to agree.  Their DJ was so much fun!)

What were your favorite images from your day? Was there any special meaning behind any of them?

Our favorite image is just the two of us before we walked down the aisle together. We were both nervous and like, “omg, hang on, we are doing this!”.

Do you have any advice for brides that are currently planning their weddings?

Plan the wedding you want — not the wedding your parents, extended family, or friends want.

Last one… Where did you spend your honeymoon? Tell us about it!

We went to Greece and it was a fabulous decision. Athens is a neat, walkable city with great history. The islands (Santorini & Mykonos) were relaxing and beautiful. Any place with great swimming, museums, food & wine are a win with us!

Update:  Since answering these questions quite a while ago…Joe and Victoria welcomed an adorable baby boy to their family…..  Congratulations you two!!
