Grand Rapids Photographer // Meet Kristi!
As we continue growing our company into an amazing team of photographers, I’d love to introduce Kristi! Many of you already know and love her as I do…..but there is a lot to her that you may not know! She may be more of a nerd than you think….. (She said that…not me!).
Meet Kristi!
Ten things you may not know about Kristi:
1 – I earned my 1st degree black belt in taekwondo at the end of high school–if needed I can still whip out some moves!
2 – During high school and college, I spent three summers in Japan–one on the island of Okinawa and two in Hiokone, which is located in Shiga Prefecture. And yes, that means I can speak Japanese! Although I’m a little rusty now…
3 – I love green tea flavored anything. Really. Ice cream, snow cones, chocolate…and of course, the actual tea!
4 – I am a self-professed Apple girl. I can’t imagine life without my iPhone, ipad, and MacBook Pro!
5 – As a book lover, I thought being “grounded to my room” was a perfectly acceptable punishment because that was where all my books were.
6 – At 17, I traded my year-round slight tans for green trees and crunchy leaves when my family moved from our childhood home in Phoenix, Arizona to Grand Rapids, Michigan.
7 – For a class assignment, I was a pescotarian (a vegetarian who eats seafood) for 4 weeks. I guess those four weeks never ended because it’s been five years and I still love my sushi.
8 – My blessing and curse is that I notice small details. Little things that others may easily dismiss stand out to me! If there is a small fuzzy in your hair on your wedding day, I will notice and fix ASAP. You can count on it. 🙂
9 – Flannel pajamas are the best winter nightwear. I don’t care if I look like I stepped out of a classic Christmas movie. THEY ARE THE BEST.
10 – My fiance once told me he decided he was “The One” when he heard me mention all of the video games I had played (and loved!).
Kristi is pretty much awesome. I love being around here while shooting photos or just grabbing lunch, chatting about life. She’s a kind-hearted person that lights up the room when she walks in. We are so fortunate and so blessed that she joined our team! Interested in having her shoot your upcoming wedding? Click here to find out more information!
