How do you like being married? Does it feel any different than before?

Since we lived together before tying the knot, it doesn’t feel too much different. We knew what we were getting into!

Was there anything that you would have done differently on your wedding day or did it go exactly as planned?

I would have probably had the photographers come earlier to cover more of the getting ready process. Also, it would have been helpful to walk through our venue with more of the helpers to let them know exactly where and how we wanted things for the ceremony & reception.

Did anything crazy or funny happen that we may not know about?

The groom and best man’s suits were not ready due to fit issues until noon the day of our wedding- we got married at 3pm! It’s a good thing they didn’t tell me about it until after our wedding!

Did you have a favorite vendor and/or favorite detail from the day?

We absolutely loved the way our flowers and bouquets came out! The special coral colored peonies were absolutely gorgeous at our rustic venue! And, of course, our photos were fabulous!

What were your favorite images from your day? Was there any special meaning behind any of them?

All of our photos came out beautifully. Of course, the family photos are some of our favorites. We also really loved the photos of our first dance together and the father/daughter dance as well as the mother/son dance.

Do you have any advice for brides that are currently planning their weddings?

The day of the wedding is a lot of hurry up and wait. I was told it would go by quickly but that was probably the shortest but best day ever! Enjoy every minute and don’t sweat the little things!

Last one… Where did you spend your honeymoon?

We went to St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands for a week of all-inclusive fun! We loved snorkeling, para-sailing and soaking up the sun!
