I love in-home newborn photography sessions in the Grand Rapids area.  They are always so relaxed, they help keep the baby at ease in their own environment, we can include cute pets AND mom and dad have less running around to do to meet up with me for the actual photo session.  Overall, I’d say they are pretty great!

Last week, I had the most fun time going to sweet Evelyn’s house.  Her mommy is my childhood friend, Annette.  I feel like I don’t have anything fun or “big” going on in my life these days….I’ve been married for what feels like forever and I’ve been a mom for almost a decade so seeing my friends meet these fun milestones is seriously such a joy to me!

Evelyn’s arrival was so welcomed by everyone in her life and she will surely be loved more than she could ever dream of!  Welcome sweet little girl!

(Grandma Mary – you better go grab a box of tissues!)

I love her bright eyes….so full of life at only a few days old!

And being held in daddy’s arms makes her look even smaller…

I don’t think sweet Evelyn cried the entire time I was there….she’s going for baby of the year award…

Annette – you are one gorgeous momma!

She is seriously a beautiful baby 🙂

And the entire family!  I can’t believe we even got Abby cat in there 😉

Steve & Annette – thank you for trusting me with your memories of your beautiful family.  It is so special to me to be there for your engagement, when the two of your first met, your wedding and now…..the best time of all!
