I’m a wedding and portrait photographer, and I’m also a disability advocate working to make the wedding industry more accessible, thoughtful, and welcoming. I believe love stories deserve to be told in spaces where care, dignity, and access are part of the experience - not an afterthought.

This work is deeply personal to me. I’m helping build an industry that’s ready for my daughter, Gabby - so that when it’s her turn to dream, celebrate, and be celebrated, the world is already open to her, just as she is.

Grand Rapids Newborn Photographer // Sweet Lola!

Lola is finally here! Her arrival has been awaited with much anticipation by her mommy, daddy and big brother Milo (and me 😉 ). I photographed Jillian’s maternity session when there was still snow on the ground (see it here) and was beyond excited to meet this adorable little lady once she made her appearance. Needless to say, our first meeting did not disappoint!

Lola’s mommy, Jillian, is an interior designer and owner of House of You Interior Design, so I knew that her home was going to be the perfect place for their newborn session. So much texture, gorgeous backdrops and cute little nooks everywhere we turned made for some pretty adorable photos for our new best friend, Lola.
