Grand Rapids Wedding Photographer // Fall Inspiration Shoot – DIY Apple Orchard Style!

Inspiration shoots are my favorite.  They are insanely gorgeous, super detailed and all around fun.  Michelle, Ami and I planned this shoot to be effortless and simple, yet super cute and stylish.  I think that we pulled it off! 

What is cuter than a small ceremony in the middle of an apple orchard….?

We decided early on to make this shoot simple and sweet.  Michelle, lead planner at Red Heels Events, created these gorgeous floral pieces.

Aren’t these invitations gorgeous?!  Blue Tulip Designs did a great job creating the paper products which were all made of wood.

 

I love working with Helena DeYoung.  She always makes our models look fabulous!  (I even trust her with my own hair!!)

We wanted Erin, our lovely bride, to look gorgeous (of course!), but wanted to keep her look kinda low key.  Something comfortable, fashionable and a little warmer!

How have we been so lucky with this gorgeous fall weather ?!?!

I love everything about this set up.  The very light mint truck, pops of red and all the fun, unique decorative items.

The Cakabakery is awesome!  They painted this cake by hand and it was perfect.  If you ever want a gorgeous cake or even a little treat, head down to their shop in Eastown.  Love!!

For the “reception” we decided to change up Erin’s look….and help warm her up a little…
